3 Idiots

Talento's niece, Erin told us that their professors required them to watch 3 Idiots. It is a Hindi film (with English subtitles don't worry) showing the life of three engineering students and their means of surviving one of the best colleges in India. There is one character in the movie (Rancho) who showed even demonstrated how learning and teaching should be. The movie even made me cry because it is full of lessons that will really touch you and it is really worth watching and sharing with others. When I finally finished the movie all I can think about is that Rancho is like Talento. Tal could be one of the best and smartest engineers or one of the richest hacienderos right now in the Philippines. But no! He has chosen the humblest profession of all. He chose to be a school teacher just like Rancho, who shared all his knowledge, talents and gifts to all the children in his village.

Black Swan=Dark Movie but VERY GOOD

My mom and I celebrated Valentine's day yesterday. We saw the film Black Swan starring Natalie Portman, Barbara Hershey and Mila Kunis . The movie is dark and very intense. The actors were exquisite and phenomenal.They were all great! My cousin even told me that the movie was emotionally exhausting and you would want to smoke a cigarette after watching it.

Before we saw the movie, we ate at Cafe Breton. It is the same cafe and resto where my sis Eya and I celebrated our pre valentine's day. My mom  even ordered the same food my sister Eya did... Burger Mozzarella!

I can't believe it! I'm going to see the advance screening of Black Swan starring Natalie Portman with my mama. Well, I guess mama is going to be my Valentine for tomorrow.

What about my husband?

Not to worry. EVERYDAY is Valentine's Day to us at home!

I'm an ADDICT!

What have I been doing? I just transferred my multiply blogs to this blog site! I've never been so eager to stay in front of the computer for more than three hours (my normal computer time is one hour only).

I still love my multiply account even though facebook is the new IT networking site.

Can't wait to blog all the way! Well, not really all the way!

I should budget my time wisely. Must read a book or two also.

So here's the deal... I promise to document my life at least once a week!

Himlayang Pilipino

Ang pagdalaw namin sa Himpalayan Pilipino kung saan nakahimlay ang aming lolo, lola at pinsan ay diniriwang namin tuwing araw ng mga patay at kung may balik-bayan kaming kasama. Ang lugar na ito ay para nang park sa amin. Dito kami kumakain at nagkwe kwentuhan. Ang nadagdagan lamang eh ay ang pagdarasal. Pagkatapos non ay kwentuhan na ulit at kainan na ulit.



 Masaya kami pag nasa Himpalayan kami. Nakakapag laro ang mga bata, nakakapag relax ang mga matatanda at sabihin na nating nagkakaroon na ng mini reunion pag dadalaw sa patay. Ang balik-bayan sa litratong ito ato ay ang Tita Bajin (yung naka-green) ko at ang anak nyang si Eric.

Salamat kay Ivan at sa kanyang may bahay na si Jen dahil binusog na naman kami. Sila ang pangalawang balik-bayan na dumalaw ngayong bakasyon. Kami'y nagkita kita sa Trinoma at nag hapunan sa Max's Fried Chicken, Nagkwentuhan at nagtawanan. Nagsiuwian kami agad dahil may lecture pa si Sherwin kinabukasan. Kaya kailangan na nyang magpahinga.
Masayang kausap sina Ivan at ang misis nyang si Jen. Lalo na si Jen at ang kanyang Aussie accent .

BORACAY

Boracay! Ang islang babalik balikan mo! Mayo 2008 nung una akong nakatapak sa malambot na buhangin ng Boracay.Hindi agad ako namangha sa kagandahan nito, ito'y dahil sa ako'y pagod na pagod sa napakahabang biyahe. Pag dating namin sa La Carmela Hotel namahinga kami nang sandali bago kami nag seminar. Opo, kami muna ay nag seminar bago namin natikman ang tamis ng Boracay. Si Talento ang masasabi kong pinaka nag enjoy sa Boracay.Kitang kita naman sa mga litrato na gustong gusto na nyang lamunin ang dagat ng Boracay.
 Hay! Kailan kaya ako makakabalik sa matalinghagang isla ng Boracay?

Ako ay tuwang-tuwa nang malaman ko na ipapakilalal na ni Anto ang kanyang misis na si Bessie. Isa lang ang ibig sabihin nyan, may kainan! Yipee! Ninanamnam ko na ang mga iba't ibang putahe na matitikman ko. Hay buhay talaga...ang sarap! Lalo na't may masasarap na handaan! Salamat boss Anto!

Itong si Talento talaga! Ni di man lang nangalahati ang kanyang inorder na isda. Sayang talaga!

Nais ko sanang kumain ng paborito kong steak. Kaya lang naalala ko na kailangan ko nang alagaan ang aking maselan na
katawan. Kaya, isang salmon with mixed veggies na lang ang kinain ko. Masarap na, masustansya pa!

Math Fair 2011

February is not just the month of love, romance and hearts. It is also the month to celebrate Mathematics! Yes, FEU-FERN celebrates its annual Math Fair during the love month. FERN students prepare challenging mathematics games as


a project and they invite guests and other students from different schools to participate in it.

Our Math Fair started four years ago as part of our school's foundation week celebration.

This year we invited FEU's very own Johnny Abarientos! Students and parents (especially parents) were very excited to meet him. Syempre, left and right ang pagpapa picture and authograph sa kanya!

I hope that our Math Fair would still be successful in the coming years!
