My new home

My husband surprised me with a dinner date on a school night. Casa Renato is the name of the restaurant near our school and home. I fell in love with the place 'cause its not too big and its very cozy and homey. I feel more comfortable in restaurants that have the im-like-at-home ambiance. The food is not pricey but the quality is great same with the quantity.

It was the first day of exams for the third quarter and my husband and I would like a new and refreshing place to have our lunch. I suggested we have it at this new restaurant in Don Antonio called Verena's Cafe.  The first time I saw the place I feel in love with it. I was so happy there's a place near our workplace that serve's good Filipino dishes. We ordered their calderetang kambing and crab rice. Sorry there are no pictures of the food 'cause the first thing we did after they served it was to pray then eat! Their fresh juices are refreshing and plenty. I love going back to this place. Dear Lord, help me accept the things I cannot change and strengthen me so I may have the will to move on. 

My husband was invited to be a member of the Lions Quezon City Educators Club and last October 26, 2014 was his induction as a new member at the Manila Hotel. I was excited 'cause we get to dress up for the occasion. he wore a barong and I wore my black backless gown given to me by my friend Hilda. Thankful that my mom convinced me to purchase not one but two formal shoes, one silver and the other gold. I wore the silver. When we arrived at the hotel the worship service was not over yet so we decided to explore the great Manila Hotel. I liked the gym and pool area. Not all hotels whether it is 4 stars or 5 stars have amazing pools. I most especially liked their spacious lobby with free wifi. This was my third visit to Manila Hotel. One when I was in elementary for i was invited to see Santa Clause there. The second one was when we had our JS Prom. I must say this hotel has changed a lot. I am so thankful God gave you to us. Thankful for the ups and downs we've been through and the blessings and provisions we have received from God our Father. You are such a wonderful father to our baby Tala and a very supportive and understanding husband to me. You are very dedicated in your profession and a passionate servant of God. Most of all, you are God's greatest gift to me and Tala. Happy teachers day to the best teacher ever! My one and only mama! I love you mama! You are my first teacher and will always be my mentor in life. I love you very much!
